Coorg

Coorg is the epicenter of South India's rain forests and the Western Ghats. History of Coorg

A land which was under different dynasties was left untouched by all rulers and invaders. Coorg was known for its brave chieftains and warriors. This helped Coorg preserve its unique and rich culture. An English man by the name John Fowler established the first estate of Coorg in 1854. Coorg was also the supply point of various famed spices which ultimately found its way to different parts of the world through the coast of Malabar.
